Hey Nimms,
I tried the Monday Meme stuff, it is cool!
Without sounding very patronising or condescending (age is taking its toll on me, I just turned 25 this week!) I think I identify with crazy people ;-) I am bull-goose crazy myself (Did you try "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" by Ken Kesey). I used to be a raving loonie in college days with long hair, rebellious bouts and incredible mood swings. Lately I have developed this veneer to surround me. You know, like the slimy thing you described in your poem. It's better this way. I am too scared of the real me. There are few people who know the real me, even fewer people who understand me. My granny is closest to me. She is wrinkled and she knows everything one needs to know. She is a scholar in English Literature, and you can blame her for making me love English Literature. Sometimes she is even crazier than me, so you see, it runs in my family!
Ok enough, this is already looking more like an email and less like a comment. I find it so hard to stop myself. Another thing, I could swear you are a libra, only librans are as emotional. BTW how's Kerouac?

On this note, I don't think there should be any birthday wishes...
Right...I haven't tried Kesey...there's a movie of that though, right? The one w/ Jack Nicholson...that's kind of a turn off; perhaps why I unconsciously avoid the book...:)
On the discourse on grannies...read my next entry, but I think you're absolutely lucky. Kerouac is fine, thank you very much. Not the kind of person you come across every day, huh?
And the Libra thing...err...are you sure you haven't sneaked a peek on my profile before posting the comment?
But yeah...we are decidedly emotional, and we do have the decency to express our regret if we happen to behave like asses...:-)
