existentialism, sore throat and swollen thumb

When you come to the point where you feel like halting people on the way or in the middle of the stairs, just so that you can get some things off your head, you know you're not okay. Is it possible to feel that there's no one to talk to when you're surrounded by so many people? I know that this is such an old question that you ask over and over again - some people because they genuinely feel that way, others because well...because this is a popular, common question to show that you're affected by the existentialism bug...which is supposed to automatically declare you part of the trend :)
The best way I know to handle it is to write it all down (if it's good enough, keep it, otherwise get rid of it and forget it ever exists) or sing it out really, really loud. The end result? Either you get a swollen thumb (typing and writing will get you to the same point) or a sore throat. Then you're ready to slip under the blanket and get a good snooze. Unless the weather refuses to cooperate. Or you have an unanticipated power cut. At which point you'll be ready to write or sing again and you can't: swollen thumbs and sore throat need a good rest. So you come back to the things in your head, unable to get them out. If there's one person whom you could hire to talk to (considerable rate, hopefully) and could comprehend and respond to you the way you want him (or her. I'm not a feminist, but anyway...)to, that would be brilliant.
